Does a gas fireplace need a chimney?

Yes, but a special one: the balanced flue system, LAS for short. It carries the supply air and the flue gas in one and makes the gas fireplace independent of the room air. We build the LAS at the same time, more on this on our chimney systems page.

Do I need a gas connection for a gas fireplace?

Not necessarily. A gas fireplace runs on natural gas from the mains connection or on liquefied gas from a tank or cylinders, so it is also possible without a gas network. The professional connection is carried out by an independent specialist company, which ensures safety.

How real does the fire of a gas fireplace look?
