nordica-milly
La Nordica MILLY, Wood-Burning Cooker

The Milly is a wood-burning stove with a hotplate: doors, front and frame are made of enamelled cast iron, plate and rings of ground cast iron. The removable rings let you regulate the heat, strong directly above the flame, gentle at the edge. So you heat the room and cook with the same flame.

The firebox is lined with Nordiker, a heat-resistant material that allows high firebox temperatures and therefore clean combustion. The secondary combustion system burns the residual gases a second time, which lowers emissions and gets more heat out of the same wood. Air is regulated with a single control: you set primary and secondary air with one movement instead of having to keep an eye on two sliders.

Through the external air inlet the Milly draws its combustion air from outside, which makes it suitable for airtight building envelopes and Minergie houses. The fire door is double-glazed, and the ceramic glass withstands the heat permanently. And practical in everyday use: you simply pull out the ash pan, and the feet make cleaning underneath easy.

For many, the hotplate is above all a back-up: if the power fails, the stove keeps running and the soup still gets hot.

We will show you the Milly in our showroom, clarify the location and chimney connection with you and install it with our own team until the first fire is burning.
